- Resume Content & Career Inputs: When you enter work experience, job descriptions, or upload an existing PDF resume for structured extraction, that text is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.3) to our Google Cloud Run backend (
us-central1) solely to generate your requested resume bullets, ATS match report, cover letter, or interview preparation script. We do not sell your resume data or share your personal contact details with third-party data brokers. - Cryptographic Device Hash (Anti-Abuse Credit Ledger): To provide 15 free welcome credits without requiring mandatory account sign-up or passwords, our system generates a one-way SHA-256 cryptographic hash of anonymous browser/device parameters. This hash is used strictly to maintain your credit balance and unlocked ATS templates.
- Log Files & Security Telemetry: Like all standard web servers hosted on Google Cloud and Firebase Hosting, our infrastructure logs basic request metadata (masked IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, and referring page) to prevent automated abuse and DDoS attacks.
4. California Consumer Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
